MALANG – English Education Department continuously widens its international relation in order to give the best service for the students’ improvement. Tuesday, September 10th 2019, a Special Guest Lecture was held in The Hall of Microteaching Building. This lecture invited Dr. Michael Nader and Yuta Otake, M.TESOL as the speakers to talk about innovative English teaching.
The lecture was started by the speech from Mr. Langgeng Budianto, The Chief of English Education Department. The next speech was delivered by Mrs. Andrea Masson from RELO US. Embassy as a new fellow for the department. She introduced herself and felt excited to join the department.
150 students was feeling enjoyed with the lecture. They wrote the material in their notes and asked various questions. Through this lecture, there was also birthday celebration for Dr. Michael Nader. All of the students and lecturers sang the birthday song and congratulated Dr. Michael Nader.
After all of the lecture sessions, the students were excited to take pictures with the guests. “It was a precious experience for me. I can speak with natives and I am feeling happy to know them,” said one of the English Education Department students.
